The Village Engineer or his or her authorized designee shall
be the enforcement officer for this Part 1. One of the duties of the
enforcement officer shall be to review all watershed development applications
to assure development sites will be reasonably free from flooding.
Adopted basin plans will be the basis for more specific regulations,
if necessary and appropriate. These additional or more specific regulations
will apply only in the specific study area of the basin plan and supersede
those of this Part 1 only upon amendment to the Lake County Watershed
Development Ordinance.
The enforcement officer may require deed restrictions, performance
bonds or sureties, as-built certification, or maintenance guarantees
to assure projects are built according to permitted plans.
