Authority and Purpose. Pursuant to Section 67.400 et seq., RSMo., the City is authorized to enact ordinances to provide for vacation and the mandatory demolition of structures or mandatory repair and maintenance of structures within the corporate limits of the City, which are detrimental to the health, safety or welfare of the residents and declared to be a dangerous building. This Chapter has been adopted pursuant to that authority of Sections 67.400 thru 67.451, RSMo., as amended, and is in full compliance with all requirements of Section 67.410, RSMo., as amended.
