Township of West Manheim, PA Article II Tax Certifications

§ 242-2 Findings.

The Township of West Manheim recognizes the importance and significance of real estate tax certifications for the smooth and efficient flow of commerce with the local real estate market.

§ 242-3 Collection of fees. [1]

This article is necessary to prevent the Tax Collector from violating Section 1103(a) of the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act, 65 Pa.C.S.A. § 1103(a), by collecting such fee in the absence of a municipal ordinance authorizing the same.

§ 242-4 Fee for expenses of Tax Collector.

The West Manheim Township Tax Collector is hereby authorized to charge a fee for expenses not to exceed $10 per certification.
