A. 
All pedestrians crossing roadways within the Borough of Jenkintown shall obey any and all traffic and pedestrian control signals within the Borough.
B. 
All pedestrians crossing roadways within the Borough of Jenkintown shall obey all signage within the Borough indicating where a pedestrian is permitted to cross and where a pedestrian is prohibited from crossing.
C. 
No pedestrian shall cross an intersection diagonally unless authorized to do so by a police officer or other authorized person to direct, control, and/or regulate traffic.
D. 
No pedestrian shall suddenly leave the curb or other place of safety and walk or run into the path of a vehicle determined to be a hazard by a police officer.
A police officer who shall observe a pedestrian violate any provision of § 172-50 shall and is authorized to issue a citation to such pedestrian, requiring payment of $25 within five days of the date of issuance. The citation shall be paid at Jenkintown Police Department Headquarters, either personally or by mail. Should the violator not satisfy payment within five days of the date of issuance, violator shall be subject to a fine or penalty of not less than $40 or more than $115 for each offense as well as the costs of prosecution.
