[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Council of the Township

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
A public water utility created hereby by the Township.
There is hereby established in the Township, pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:31-1 et seq., a public water utility which shall be known and
designated as the "Mine Hill Water Department."
The utility shall be a publicly owned utility owned and operated
by the Township.

In the operation of the utility, the Township shall have and
exercise all power granted to the Township by N.J.S.A. 40A:31-1 et
seq., as the same is presently constituted or may hereafter be supplemented
or amended by any other statute pertinent to a municipally owned public
water utility.
