No inoperable motor vehicle, machinery, or equipment shall be parked, stored, displayed, or left on any property, except inside of a garage or enclosed building. A motor vehicle not capable of safe operation or not currently registered and inspected shall be considered inoperable for purposes of this section.[1]

A. 
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be issued a notice to abate the violation within 30 days from the date of service of the notice.
B. 
Any person who shall fail to abate said violation within 30 days of service of said notice as set forth in Subsection A shall be liable to the penalty established in § 1-3 of the Code of the Township of Mine Hill.

A. 
The parking of any motor vehicle by an owner, occupant or operator on the lawn of any residential property is strictly prohibited.
B. 
All vehicles must park on an improved surface, either paved by asphalt or similar-type material or stoned as a parking area.

A vehicle having an internal combustion engine operated within the boundaries of the Township of Mine Hill shall meet the requirements of N.J.A.C. 13:20-4.4 and 13:20-33.20, as well as New Jersey motor vehicle statute N.J.S.A. 39:3-70 and federal law 40 CFR § 205.173-2, and shall be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise. No person shall operate a motor vehicle with a muffler cut-out, bypass, or similar device or with any modified exhaust system on any property, street, or road within the boundaries of the Township of Mine Hill.
