No person shall drive, move, or operate a vehicle or any combination
of vehicles on any street, alley, or highway at any time from a half-hour
after sunset to a half-hour before sunrise and at any other time when
there is not sufficient light to render clearly discernible persons
and vehicles on the same level at a distance of five hundred (500)
feet ahead unless such vehicle or combination of vehicles displays
lighted lamps and illuminating devices as required by Chapter 307,
RSMo., and other provisions of State law.

A. No person
shall operate or drive a motor vehicle or trailer upon the public
streets, alleys, or highways of the City unless such vehicle is equipped
with all other equipment required by Chapter 307, RSMo., in addition
to those items of equipment otherwise required by the provisions of
this Chapter of this Code.
B. No person
shall operate or drive a motor vehicle or trailer upon the public
streets, alleys, or highways of the City if such vehicle is equipped
or modified in any manner prohibited by Chapter 307, RSMo.

Unless the context clearly indicates to the contrary, terms used in Chapter
380 of this Code shall have the meanings assigned to the same terms in Chapter 307, RSMo., and the same presumptions, defenses, and rules governing the burden of injecting an issue or issues or of proof, if any, contained in said Chapter 307, RSMo., shall apply to prosecutions under this Chapter just as if such terms and other provisions of said Chapter 307 were set forth in their entirety in this Code.
