Editor's Note — Ord. No. 605 §2, adopted January 11, 1999, repealed ord. no. 71 enacted 5-27-64 and any other conflicting provisions which made up this chapter. Former chapter 510 derived from ord. no. 71 §§109.1 — 112.3, 5-27-1964. Subsequently at the editor's discretion, we have included ord. no. 1036 enacted February 26, 2001, herein. Subsequently ord. no. 1553 §3, 8-4-2003 repealed ord. no. 1036 adopted 2-26-2001 and enacted the new provisions set out herein.

A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of St. Robert, being marked and designated as the International Property Maintenance Code, 2006 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Property Maintenance Code of the City of St. Robert, in the State of Missouri; for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use, and the demolition of such existing structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Property Maintenance Code on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of St. Robert are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 510.020 of this Chapter.

The following Sections of the International Property Maintenance Code adopted in Section 510.010 are hereby revised:
Section 101.1. Insert: City of St. Robert.
Section 103.5. Insert: Attachment "Fee Schedule" see Appendix A to Chapter 500 of the Municipal Code.
Section 302.4. Insert: 10 inches.
Section 303.14. Insert: April 1 to November 1.
Section 602.3. Insert: October 1 to April 1.
Section 602.4. Insert: October 1 to April 1.

Ordinance Number 1036 of the City of St. Robert entitled "An Ordinance Adopting The International Property Maintenance Code" and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Nothing in this Chapter or in the Property Maintenance Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes or action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in Section 510.030 of this Chapter; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or effected by this Chapter.

Any person who shall violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof shall be guilty of a City ordinance violation punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
