Borough of Upper Saddle River, NJ Chapter 100 Peace and Good Order

Article I Public Urination and Defecation

§ 100-1 Acts prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person to urinate or defecate on any public street or way or upon any public or private property other than when using a toilet, urinal or commode located in a restroom, bathroom or other structure enclosed from public view.

§ 100-2 Violations and penalties.

Any person convicted of violating this article shall be subject to such fines and penalties as set forth in § 1-15 of the Borough Code.

Article II Prohibition of Cannabis Businesses

§ 100-3 All classes of cannabis prohibited.

Pursuant to Section 31b of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act (P.L. 2021, c. 16),[1] all cannabis establishments, cannabis distributors or cannabis delivery services are hereby prohibited from operating anywhere in the Borough of Upper Saddle River, except for the delivery of cannabis items and related supplies by a delivery service.

§ 100-4 Violations and penalties.

Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this article shall be subject to such fines and penalties as set forth in § 1-15 of the Borough Code.
