The phrase "this section" as used in this chapter refers to the provisions of Chapter 265, Limousines, in its entirety.
A. 
The Town of Boonton Police Department is authorized and instructed to observe the operations of limousines for the purpose of enforcing compliance with the provisions of this section. Upon discovering any violation of this section, the Police Department shall immediately take all appropriate police action, including the issuance of summons, to this end.
B. 
In addition, the Police Department shall forward all summonses issued and/or reports of violations of this section by any person to the Town Clerk who shall provide same to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

In addition to the limousine licensing revocation provisions previously set forth in this section, any person who is found to be in violation of this chapter or the applicable state statutes shall be subject to Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty.

Any person who makes a false or misleading statement in furtherance of an application for any license, or for renewal or reinstatement thereof shall be subject to the penalties set forth in § 265-28.
B. 
Any person who submits any document containing false information in furtherance of an application for any license, or for renewal or re-instatement thereof shall be subject to the penalties set forth in § 265-28.
Nothing in this chapter shall exempt any person owning or operating a limousine or limousine service from complying with the laws relating to ownership, regulation and operation of limousines in the State of New Jersey.
