There is hereby established the Office of Civic Center Director
for the Mendota Civic Center.
The duties of the Civic Center Director shall be management
of the facility as directed by the Civic Center Board of the City
of Mendota and the LaSalle County Civic Center and Metropolitan Exposition
Authority, together with such other duties as designated by the City
of Mendota from time to time.
The Civic Center Director shall be paid an annual salary and
shall be appointed on the first regular City Council meeting in May
of each fiscal year, said appointment being subject to the appointment
of the Mayor and the consent of the City Council.
The Director may be discharged according to the procedures for
all appointed department heads.
