A Department of Public Works shall be created and the department
shall be headed by the Director of Public Works and Engineering. The
department shall be responsible for all matters relating to the management,
maintenance, and operation of all the physical properties of the Township.
This department shall have exclusive control of the construction,
maintenance, and operation of the Township sewers and water mains,
the operation of Township dumps and landfills, the operation and maintenance
of the cemetery, and the maintenance of all Township facilities.
The Director shall be the agent of the Township Board and shall
be appointed by, and subject to removal by, such board.
