There is hereby created the position of Deputy Coordinator of and for the Homer Glen Emergency Management Agency, who shall have such duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Coordinator of the Homer Glen EMA, and the President and Village Board of Trustees, and who shall otherwise be responsible to undertake such duties and responsibilities in connection with the Homer Glen Emergency Management Agency as may be directed by the Coordinator.
The Deputy EMA Coordinator shall be appointed and removed by the Village President, with the advice and consent of the Village Board of Trustees. In the absence or incapacity of the EMA Coordinator, as determined by the Village President, the Deputy EMA Coordinator shall serve as the Acting EMA Coordinator and shall assume the duties and responsibilities of the EMA Coordinator during such period of absence or incapacity.
