Because a complainant or witness reported a violation or suspected
violation of this chapter or participated in the investigation, hearing,
inquiry or other proceedings conducted by the Commission, a County
representative:
A. May not deny, unreasonably delay or otherwise interfere with the
processing of an application for County services, permits or approvals
that would have otherwise been authorized in the ordinary course of
business; or
B. May not misuse the authority of the representative's position to
intimidate, harass or engage in discriminatory enforcement.
Complaints of harassment and/or retaliation under this article shall be considered by the Commission under §
41-12 of this chapter.
