[Code 1962 §18-61; CC 1979 §16-68; Ord. No. 973 §1, 10-4-1977]
A.
No person shall operate a motor vehicle on the streets of the City unless he/she has in his/her possession a valid license which is current, unrevoked and not under suspension, issued to such person by this State or the State of his/her residence.
B.
Such valid license shall be carried at all times by the holder thereof while driving a motor vehicle, and shall be displayed to any Police or Traffic Officer, or any other duly authorized person, for inspection when demand is made therefor. Failure of an operator to exhibit his/her license to a Police or Traffic Officer, or other duly authorized Officer, upon demand, shall be presumptive evidence that such person is not a duly licensed motor vehicle operator.
