A. 
The Building Inspector of the City shall enforce the ordinances, rules and regulations of the City relating to the Building Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code and Electrical Code.
B. 
The Building Inspector shall have authority to stop work in progress or to order corrections made in work when he/she determines that the work is not in compliance with the applicable ordinances, rules or regulations of the City.
C. 
Any person refusing to obey the orders of the Building Inspector shall be given a summons for appearance before the Municipal Court of the City to answer charges for violation of the provisions of the applicable Building Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code or Electrical Code. The Building Inspector shall have authority to issue such summons without the necessity of first filing a complaint with the Municipal Judge.
