It shall be the purpose of this chapter to provide a means of
maintaining peace, tranquility and order within the Borough of Wood-Ridge.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct himself or herself
in such manner as to:
(1)
Clearly cause an immediate, actual and probable physically violent
reaction of any person, thereby creating a threat to the peace and
order of the public.
(2)
Cause disturbance or annoyance to the comfort or repose of any person.
(3)
Obstruct the free passage of pedestrians or vehicles or likely obstruct,
molest or interfere with any person lawfully in a public place.
B.
It shall be a prerequisite to any charge for a violation hereof that
the actor have been first directed by a police or other peace officer
to move on and to have refused to obey such direction.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to possess an open container
of or to consume any alcoholic beverage in any public conveyance,
public place, place of public assembly or private property without
the express permission of the owner thereof.
B.
It shall be a defense to a charge of violating Subsection A hereof if the actor established that his or her possession was consistent with a validly issued permit or license, if the same is available, to possess or consume alcoholic beverages in a public conveyance, public place or place of public assembly at a designated time or times in connection with a special event or series of events or observance which has been authorized by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Wood-Ridge.

It shall be unlawful for any person to urinate and/or defecate
in any public place or park in the Borough of Wood-Ridge.
