The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts the 2018 International Building Code as published by the International Code Council, Inc., and all referenced standards, including Appendices A, C, D, E, F, G, I and J, as if spelled out herein, save and except such portions thereof as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided. A copy of said code is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Ozark, Missouri.

A. 
The 2018 International Building Code, as adopted, is hereby amended and changed as follows:
1. 
Amend Section 101.1 to add the following language: The City of Ozark.
2. 
Amend Section 109.3, Fee Schedule, by adding the following language at the end of the paragraph: See Section 500.190 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ozark.
3. 
Delete Section 113 in its entirety.
4. 
Amend Section 114.4, Violation Penalties, by adding the following language at the end of the paragraph: The penalties are set forth in Section 500.200 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ozark.
5. 
Amend Section 114.3 by adding the following language at the end of the paragraph: The penalties are set forth in Section 500.200 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ozark.
6. 
Delete Section 1608.2 in its entirety, and provide a new Section 1608.2, to read as follows: Section 1608.2 Ground Snow Load: The ground snow load for the City of Ozark, Missouri shall be a minimum of 20 pounds per. sq. ft.
7. 
Amend Section 1612.3 to add the following language: City of Ozark.
8. 
Amend Section 1612.3 to add the following language: 4/19/83 or any future revision.
9. 
Delete Chapter 34 in its entirety.
10. 
Delete Section 1301.1.1 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof, the following language: Buildings shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the International Energy Conservation Code, Article VII or accepted engineering practices.
