City of Pacific, MO Article X Economic Development Director

Section 115.400 Established.

The office of Economic Development Director is hereby established for the City.

Section 115.410 Appointment.

The Economic Development Director shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen.

Section 115.420 Term.

The Economic Development Director shall hold his/her office for a term to run concurrently with the term of the Mayor by whom he/she was appointed and until his/her successor shall have been appointed and qualified.

Section 115.430 Duties Generally.

The Economic Development Director shall promote economic growth of the City of Pacific, relocation and location of businesses, factories, corporations and enterprises within the City of Pacific and to report the progress of the same to the office of the Mayor and to the Board of Aldermen on a regular basis.
