There shall be a Building Board,
a Civil Service Commission, an Electrical Examining Board and such
citizens' advisory boards as the Mayor may require. The members of
all such commissions, boards or advisory committees shall be appointed
by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by City Council, for such terms
as are hereinafter provided.

The members of the commissions, boards
and advisory committees of the City of Rochester established in accordance
with the provisions of this article or established by local law or
ordinance shall be entitled to reimbursement from the City for reasonable
expenses necessarily incurred in the performance of their duties subject
to the terms and conditions of regulations promulgated by the Mayor.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to establish regulations concerning
the reimbursement of expenses, but such reimbursement shall not exceed
the appropriations established by the Council for such purpose and
shall not exceed the actual and reasonable costs incurred by the member
of the commission, board or advisory committee.
