Members of the Reserve Corps shall serve without compensation and shall serve at the will of the City.

Members of the Reserve Corps shall be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of appointment, be capable of performing the duties of a Reserve Police Officer, have successfully completed or be available to complete all training required of Reserve Police Officers as prescribed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and any other training prescribed by the Chief of Police for the City of Charlack.

Members of the Reserve Corps shall wear identifying uniforms and emblems while carrying out their duties or appointments. They shall be permitted to direct traffic, watch prisoners, walk foot patrol, attend schools pertaining to their duties, answer calls of a non-criminal nature, assist the regular patrolmen when in need and carry firearms on duty, provided they possess a certificate of training and qualification necessary for use of said firearm and also obtain written permission from the Chief of Police.
