The 2018 Fire Code, excluding Section 903.3.1.3, is adopted by the City of Rogersville, and is hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of the City Code of the City of Rogersville, Missouri, as fully as if set out in their entirety therein.

The provisions of the 2018 Fire Code, excluding Section 903.3.1.3, and any referenced standards thereto, and Appendixes thereto, if any, shall govern all construction within the City.

Any person, fire, corporation, partnership, or other lawfully recognized entity who violates the provisions of such codes hereby adopted shall be guilty of an offense and shall, upon conviction therefore, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in a sum of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day said violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct offense for purpose of ascertaining and imposing such fine and/or imprisonment.
