It is hereby ordained and enacted by the Council of Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, that the Peters Township Parks and Recreation Board, which presently consists of seven members, may, as Council deems it appropriate, be increased to nine members. Members shall be appointed to serve three-year terms. The Peters Township School Board may advise the Peters Township Council as to the appointment of up to three Board appointments. All appointments shall be made by the Peters Township Council.
It is further ordained and enacted that said Peters Township Parks and Recreation Board have such powers and duties as shall, from time to time, by resolution, be conferred upon it by the Council of Peters Township.
