The term "garage sales" as used in this Chapter
shall mean the offering for sale of personal property, goods, wares
and appliances by any person who is not the holder of a business license
authorizing the sale of such personal property, goods, wares and appliances.

It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct more than three
(3) garage sales at the same location within any calendar year.

Any person purposing to conduct a garage sale shall notify,
in writing, the City of Northmoor, Missouri, Police Department of
the place where such sale is to be conducted, the dates of such sale,
and the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the persons responsible
for conducting the sale.

It shall be unlawful to conduct a garage sale longer than five
(5) days duration.

No person shall erect, place, post or mark any sign advertising
a garage sale on any public property, including street signs, posts
and traffic signs and posts, or on any public utility pole. Any sign
erected, placed, posted or marked advertising such garage sale shall
be removed before the last day of such sale. The person responsible
for conducting the garage sale shall be responsible for removing any
such sign.

No person shall accept or take in for sale any goods from any
commercial business or enterprise on a consignment basis.

No goods offered for sale at any garage sale shall be displayed
on any public street or right-of-way.
