[Adopted as Art. 5 of the Town Bylaws]
The Select Board shall appoint a Chief of Police, who shall
receive such pay, if any, as the Select Board shall determine, who
shall hold said office until another is appointed in his stead, subject
to removal by said Board.
It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to report in writing,
annually, upon all matters pertaining to his department, with recommendations
as to the same, to the Select Board.
