A. 
Appointment. Pursuant to § 60.30(1e), Wis. Stats., the office of Town Clerk shall be filled by appointment of the majority of the members-elect of the Town Board. The Town Clerk shall serve for a term of three years. The Town Clerk may be reappointed and may be dismissed only for cause pursuant to § 17.001, Wis. Stats.
B. 
Duties and responsibilities. The Town Clerk shall perform all such duties and have such responsibilities as set forth under §§ 60.15 and 60.33, Wis. Stats., and any other duties established by statute, ordinance, or resolution or by the direction of the Town Board or Town Administrator.
A. 
Appointment. The office of Deputy Town Clerk shall be appointed by the Town Clerk in accordance with, and at the direction of, the Town Board and shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Board.
B. 
Duties and responsibilities. The Deputy Town Clerk shall assist the Town Clerk in performing the duties of that office and may perform all such duties as permitted by statute, ordinance or resolution or in accordance with the direction of the Town Board, Town Administrator, or Town Clerk.

The Town Treasurer shall serve for a term of three years. The Town Treasurer may be reappointed and may be dismissed only for cause pursuant to § 17.001, Wis. Stats..

Duties and responsibilities. The Town Treasurer shall perform all such duties and have such responsibilities as set forth under § 60.34, Wis. Stats., and any other duties established by statute, ordinance, or resolution or by the direction of the Town Board or Town Administrator.
A. 
Appointment. The office of Deputy Town Treasurer shall be appointed by the Town Treasurer in accordance with and at the direction of the Town Board and shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Board.
B. 
Duties and responsibilities. The Deputy Town Treasurer shall assist the Town Treasurer in performing the duties of that office and may perform all such duties as permitted by statute, ordinance or resolution or in accordance with the direction of the Town Board, Town Administrator, or Town Treasurer.
A. 
Appointment. The office of Town Administrator is hereby established. The Town Administrator shall be appointed by a majority of the members-elect of the Town Board on the basis of merit, with due regard for training, experience, administrative ability and general fitness for the office, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Board.
B. 
Duties and responsibilities. The Town Administrator, except as limited by statute, ordinance, or resolution, shall act as the chief administrative officer for the Town responsible for the proper administration of the Town's business affairs and the oversight of all other appointed Town officers and employees. The Town Administrator shall report directly and solely to the Town Board and may delegate duties, tasks or responsibilities to other appointed Town officers and employees. The Town Administrator's duties shall include:
(1) 
Implement Town Board directives.
(2) 
Oversee the administration of day-to-day operations of Town government.
(3) 
Attend all meetings of the Town Board and other committees, commissions or boards as directed by the Town Board.
(4) 
Advise the Town Board regarding actions for consideration, including adoption of ordinances and resolutions to further the general welfare of the Town of Ledgeview.
(5) 
Serve as the Town's Chief Personnel Officer responsible for maintaining personnel records, evaluating employee performance, resolving or assisting in the resolution of personnel issues, and making personnel recommendations to the Town Board.
(6) 
Administer the Town's budget.
A. 
Appointment. The Town Code Enforcement Officer shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Town Board.
B. 
Powers and duties. The Town Code Enforcement Officer shall have the authority to issue citations for violations of any Town ordinance but shall not be considered a law enforcement officer under § 165.85(2)(c), Wis. Stats., unless approved by the Town Board and upon completion of the minimum training and certification requirements established by the Law Enforcement Training Standards Board under § 165.85(3), Wis. Stats. The Town Code Enforcement Officer shall serve at the direction of and report to the Town Board and Town Administrator.

Appointment. The Town Building Inspector shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Town Board. The Town Building Inspector may be an appointed Town employee, or the office may be served by one or more independent contractors or firms possessing the required credentials to perform building inspections. Any reference in this Code to the Building Inspector shall refer to that individual designated to serve the Town in that capacity, either directly or by the firm designated, retained or employed by the Town as Building Inspector for the particular matter at issue.
B. 
Powers and duties. The Building Inspector shall enforce and administer the provisions of Chapter 15 of this Code and perform such other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Town Board or Town Administrator.
The Town Board may designate, retain or employ one or more engineers or engineering firms to provide engineering services on a temporary or continuing basis and to act as Town Engineer. Any reference in this Code to the Town Engineer shall refer to that individual designated to serve the Town, either directly or by the firm designated, retained or employed by the Town, in the capacity of Town Engineer for the particular matter at issue.
The Town Board may designate, retain or employ one or more attorneys on a temporary or continuing basis to counsel the Town on legal matters or represent the Town in legal proceedings. Any reference in this Code to the Town Attorney shall refer to that individual designated to serve the Town, either directly or by the firm designated, retained or employed by the Town, in the capacity of Town Attorney for the particular matter at issue.

Combined offices are any combination of Town offices occupied and the duties thereof performed by a single individual as the Town Board may direct from time to time. Each reference to a single office appearing in this Code shall be interpreted as referring to the individual holding and performing the duties of such office regardless of whether that person also holds and performs the duties of other offices or positions of employment in the Town.
