C.
All public building rentals shall be subject to a security deposit
payable to the Borough of Oceanport in the amount of $300 to ensure
that the buildings and grounds will be properly utilized and also
left in a clean, safe and sanitary condition. A representative of
the Borough shall examine the grounds and facilities following use
by such individual, group or organization and in the event all rules
have been complied with and facility is left in proper condition,
the deposit may be returned to the applicant/permittee within 45 days.
If the rules and/or other conditions have not been complied with,
the deposit shall be forfeited. In addition, the Borough reserves
the right to seek such other remedies and relief as may be appropriate
in accordance with applicable law.
