As used in this Chapter, the following terms shall have these
prescribed meanings:
Any person, company or corporation who uses or causes to
be used a vehicle for the purpose of engaging in the business of collecting
and transporting solid waste or recyclables for profit.
Those items which are accepted by the City of Maryville,
Missouri, at the compost center. Compost is a dark crumbly earthy
smelling form of decomposing organic matter. Compost includes yard
waste such as grass clippings, leaves of any type, yard and garden
vegetation, also called humus.
Shall be defined in the Code of State Regulations for the
State of Missouri and the current regulations for operation of facilities
under the direction, supervision or regulation of the Missouri Department
of Natural Resources.
Includes all facilities located at the site of the Maryville
transfer station and the Maryville compost center and shall be understood
to include the transfer station, processing facility, compost center
or other facility under the direction of the City of Maryville.
Shall be defined in the Code of State Regulations for the
State of Missouri and the current regulations for operation of facilities
under the direction, supervision or regulation of the Missouri Department
of Natural Resources.
Includes those items which are received at a recycling center
or other similar locations which have been approved for the receipt
of such items by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources or other
similar approving agency.
Includes those items acceptable for disposal at the Maryville
transfer station/processing facility. It shall not include compost
material, industrial process waste, waste requiring special handling,
excluded solid waste or recyclables destined for delivery at a location
other than the Maryville processing facility.

under the direction, supervision or regulation of the Missouri Department
of Natural Resources.
