A. 
For utility bills rendered for metered water usage during the month of January 1, 2023, and for services rendered thereafter, the following shall be the schedule of monthly charges for water service, to wit:
1. 
Rates For Users Within City Limits.
a. 
For the first one hundred (100) cubic feet or fraction thereof: five dollars and ninety-five cents ($5.95) (minimum charge).
b. 
For the next four thousand nine hundred (4,900) cubic feet or fraction thereof: five dollars and ninety-one cents ($5.91) per one hundred (100) cubic feet.
c. 
For all in excess of five thousand (5,000) cubic feet, at the rate of: five dollars and eighty-five cents ($5.85) per one hundred (100) cubic feet.
2. 
Rates For Users Outside City Limits.
a. 
For the first ten thousand (10,000) cubic feet or fraction thereof: The City rate plus fifty percent (50%).
b. 
For all in excess of ten thousand (10,000) cubic feet: eight dollars and forty-two cents ($8.42) per one hundred (100) cubic feet.
3. 
Rates For Public Water Supply District — Nodaway County.
a. 
For each one thousand (1,000) gallons or fraction thereof (to be known as the "prevailing rate"): eight dollars and two cents ($8.02) per one thousand (1,000) gallons.
4. 
Rates For Unannexed Users In Service Territory Acquired From Public Water Supply District No. 1 — Nodaway County.
a. 
For the first one hundred (100) cubic feet or fraction thereof: eleven dollars and ninety cents ($11.90) (minimum charge).
b. 
For the next four thousand nine hundred (4,900) cubic feet or fraction thereof: eleven dollars and eighty-two ($11.82) per one hundred (100) cubic feet.
c. 
For all in excess of five thousand (5,000) cubic feet, at a rate of: eleven dollars and seventy cents ($11.70) per one hundred (100) cubic feet.
5. 
Monthly minimum charge for customers with meters other than five-eighths (5/8) or five-eighths (5/8) by three-fourths (3/4) inch size:

6. 
Rates For Bulk Sales. Ten dollars and fifteen cents ($10.15) per one thousand (1,000) gallons or any fraction thereof.
7. 
Charges For Private Fire Hydrants And Automatic Sprinkler Systems.
a. 
Four dollars and ninety-seven cents ($4.97) per month for each fire hydrant which shall include water consumed in the proper use of such fire.
b. 
Four dollars and ninety-seven cents ($4.97) per month for up to one hundred (100) sprinkler heads, plus an additional monthly charge of thirty-eight thousandths cent ($0.038) for each head in excess of one hundred (100) which shall include water consumed in the proper use of such system.

A. 
For utility bills rendered for the collection and treatment of sewerage on or after January 1, 2023, each user shall pay for the sewerage collection and treatment services provided by the City based on the user's use of the water system as determined by water meters acceptable to the City.
B. 
Except for unannexed customers in the service territory acquired from the Public Water Supply District 1 — Nodaway County, the minimum charge per month for the collection and treatment of sewerage shall be twenty-four dollars and twenty-six cents ($24.26) for the first one hundred (100) cubic feet for residential and non-residential customers. In addition, each customer shall pay a user charge rate of six dollars and forty-two cents ($6.42) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of water above the minimum as determined in Section 705.300.
C. 
The following rates shall be charged to all unannexed customers of the City for the service territory acquired from the Public Water Supply District 1 — Nodaway County:
1. 
The minimum charge per month for the collection and treatment of sewerage shall be forty-eight dollars and fifty-one cents ($48.51) for the first one hundred (100) cubic feet for residential and non-residential customers.
2. 
In addition, each customer shall pay a user charge rate of twelve dollars and eighty-three cents ($12.83) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of water above the minimum as determined in Section 705.300.
D. 
As used in this Section, the phrase "the service area acquired from the Public Water Supply District No. 1 — Nodaway County" shall be understood to mean those portions purchased by the City of Maryville from Public Water Supply District No. 1 by the Territorial Agreement and Contract Modification Extension, dated December 31, 1999, November 4, 2010, or April 11, 2011, and referred to therein but not limited to as Park Territory, Harmony Hills Subdivision Territory, Southeast Territory, City Lagoon Territory and Industrial Territory, all as described on the attachments to the agreement.
E. 
It shall be the policy of the City not to provide water or sewer service to any property outside the City limits unless and until an agreement is accepted by the City Council concerning the annexation of said property.
F. 
Should a property receive water and/or sanitary sewer service through a City Council and property owner executed agreement and not comply with the requirements of an agreement between the property owner and the City, the property shall be charged fees in accordance with Sections 705.300(A)(4) and 705.310(C) for water and/or sanitary sewer service, respectively.

Any user of water, other than a domestic or residential water user, who uses water for commercial purposes, industrial purposes and public institutional purposes, and said water is not discharged into the sewerage system of the City, may have said water metered through a submeter in order to obtain credit for sewer charge. The charge then made to said customer shall be based on the amount of water furnished customer during the month, less the amount recorded by the submeter which was not discharged into the sewerage system of the City.
