Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this
Part 2 shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than
$500 for each offense, and in cases of continuing violations, each
week that the violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
Instead of immediately commencing a proceeding against an alleged
offender in a Court of Special Sessions or before a Magistrate, the
Superintendent or his agents or employees of the sewer district may
cause to be served or mailed a notice of violation to such person,
stating the nature of the alleged violation and a reasonable time
to comply. If compliance is effected within the time allowed therefor,
no further charges on such violation shall be brought.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Part 2 shall
be liable to the district for any loss, expense or damage occasioned
by the district by reason of such violation.
