It shall be unlawful for any person to trespass upon private property within the Town of Riverhead or upon public property of the Town of Riverhead except such public property of the Town which shall be specifically designated for use by the public.

Every violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
