A.
Each person requesting voluntary annexation by the City
of Hallsville, Missouri, shall, at the time such request is made,
post with the City Clerk a money deposit in the amount of two hundred
dollars ($200.00) in order to reimburse the City for its actual costs
in processing, advertising and handling such requests.
B.
At the time of the passage of this Chapter, the Board of
Aldermen of the City of Hallsville, Missouri, deems two hundred dollars
($200.00) to be the current actual cost incurred by the City of Hallsville
in processing, advertising and handling voluntary annexation requests.
C.
Any portion of said money deposit not used to reimburse
actual expenses incurred by the City in processing, advertising and
handling any such voluntary annexation request shall be refunded to
the applicant in a timely manner.
