City of Caruthersville, MO Article V "R-3" Two-Family Residential District Regulations

Section 405.180 Purpose.

The purpose of this District is to provide for single-family and two-family residential development on medium sized lots, together with such churches, recreational facilities, and accessory uses as may be necessary or are normally compatible with residential surroundings. The District is located to protect existing development of this character and contains vacant land considered appropriate for such development in the future. The regulations set forth in this Article or set forth elsewhere in this Chapter when referred to in this Article, are the regulations in the "R-3" Residential District.

Section 405.190 Use Regulations.

A. A building or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:

1. Any use permitted in the "R-2" Residential District.

2. Two-family dwellings.

Section 405.200 Height and Area Regulations.

The height and area regulations set forth in Article XIV shall be observed.

Section 405.210 Parking Regulations.

Off-street parking spaces shall be provided in accordance with the requirements for specific uses set forth in Article XV.
