City of Fall River, MA DIVISION 6 Information Systems Division

§ 2-807 Established; Manager.

A. Established. There shall be a division known as the "Information Systems Division." The head of the Information Systems Division shall be the Manager of the Information Systems Division.

B. Appointment; contract. The Manager of the Information Systems Division shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall be employed by contract.

C. Duties. The Manager of the Information Systems Division shall, under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, assist with affairs of the City dealing with the management of information systems. These include, but shall not be limited to, administration of the City's data processing and computer-related services and administration of printed communication services and telephonic communication services.

D. Employees. The Manager of the Information Systems Division shall hire, exercise administrative control, supervise and direct the positions of network administrator and computer operator in the Information Systems Division.
