The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
No person shall park any vehicle upon a street in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than 10 feet of the width of the roadway for free movement of vehicular traffic.
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than 10 feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular traffic. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within an alley in such position as to block the driveway entrance of any abutting property.

No person shall leave a motor vehicle unattended waiting at any curb, parked at any curb or anywhere on any public street within the Village between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., with the exception of vehicles of the Fire Department, vehicles of Police or Sheriff's Departments, duly licensed ambulances, emergency vehicles of municipal departments or public-service corporations and also those of doctors and funeral directors while being used in the performance of their business.
No truck or tractor-trailer in excess of 25 feet in length shall be parked or left standing on any street of the Village for any purpose except the expeditious loading and unloading of freight or merchandise, except in case of emergency or when otherwise directed by a police officer.
When signs are erected giving notice that parking is allowable only on the easterly side of Village streets which run north and south (such as Linwood Place, Flagg Street, Gardner Street and Westmoreland Street between Main Street and Roosevelt Drive) on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on the westerly side only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, only alternate parking shall be permitted on such Village streets, and only alternate parking shall be permitted on other Village streets which run east and west (such as Pine Street, Wagner Avenue and Foster Street) when signs are erected giving notice that parking is allowable only on the northerly side on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and on the southerly side only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Other than permitted parking shall be prohibited.
A. 
Fire lanes. No person shall park a vehicle at any time in any area designated as a fire lane on any of the premises or at any of the locations listed in Schedule XII (§ 275-60), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B. 
Parking spaces for handicapped persons. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in any area designated as a place for handicapped parking unless the vehicle bears a permit issued pursuant to § 1203-a or 1203-b of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. Off-street parking spaces for handicapped persons shall be designated as provided in § 1203-c of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIII (§ 275-61), attached to and made a part of this chapter. No person shall park a vehicle at any time on a sidewalk or between the sidewalk and curb on any street, including anywhere on the public right-of-way.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 275-62), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XV (§ 275-63), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XVI (§ 275-64) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVII (§ 275-65) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVIII (§ 275-66) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XIX (§ 275-67) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XIX of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIX, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XX (§ 275-68) except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 275-69), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.
The locations described in Schedule XXII (§ 275-70), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands.
The locations described in Schedule XXIII (§ 275-71), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops.
