It shall be unlawful to commence or engage in any transient
retail business for the sale of goods, wares and/or merchandise within
the Borough of Littlestown until and unless the person, firm or corporation
desiring to commence or engage in such transient retail business shall
procure from the Mayor a license. The fees for the initial application
and renewal shall be set by resolution by the Borough Council.

It shall be unlawful to peddle or hawk from house to house,
or by wagon or other vehicle, or otherwise, or to sell or offer to
sell or gratuitously distribute any goods, wares and/or merchandise
from vehicles or temporary stands upon any of the streets or alleys
of the Borough of Littlestown, except upon payment of a fee set by
resolution of the Borough Council.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this chapter, upon conviction thereof before a Magisterial District
Judge, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 nor more than
$300, plus costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of such
fine and costs, to imprisonment for a term of not more than 30 days
(each day that a violation continues, or is permitted to continue,
shall constitute a separate offense punishable by like fine or penalty).
