An act to authorize a Village Clerk and/or a Village Treasurer
to reside within the County of Oneida.
It is the intent of the Whitesboro Village Board of Trustees
to expand the residency requirements for candidates of the appointed
position of Clerk and Treasurer such that an appointment may be made
from a pool of candidates who reside in all of Oneida County and not
limited to just the Village of Whitesboro.
The Whitesboro Village Board hereby enacts this article to provide
in lieu of any other residency requirement imposed by law an appointed
Village Clerk and/or Village Treasurer may reside within Oneida County.
