There is hereby established a Perpetual Care Cemetery Fund to be operated and governed as provided in Section 214.020, RSMo.

The City may, by ordinance, accept or acquire funds or property by gift, bequest or donation. If property other than money shall be so received, such property shall be sold as provided by such ordinance. All funds donated and the proceeds of the sale of property donated shall be credited to the Perpetual Care Cemetery Fund.

Such funds shall be invested from time to time in bonds of the United States Government or of the State of Missouri or may be placed in any bank or savings and loan association authorized to do business in this State and insured by Federal deposit insurance.

The principal of such fund shall not be encroached upon for any purpose whatsoever and no money shall be transferred out of the principal of such fund except for investment as herein provided.

The income from the Perpetual Care Cemetery Fund shall be expended exclusively for the preservation, care, upkeep or adornment of the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Marceline, including repurchasing of cemetery lots previously sold, and for no other purpose.

All investments of the principal of such fund shall be made as the Council may by ordinance direct.

From and after date of passage hereof, all lots sold by the City in Mount Olivet Cemetery shall be sold at the price of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per lot.

A. 
The dimensions of lots and parts thereof shall be as follows:
1. 
One (1) lot: ten by five (10 x 5) feet.
2. 
Two (2) lots: ten by ten (10 x 10) feet.
3. 
Four (4) lots: ten by twenty (10 x 20) feet.
4. 
Eight (8) lots: ten by forty (10 x 40) feet.

All funds derived from the sale of cemetery lots shall be divided as follows: twenty percent (20%) thereof to the Perpetual Care Cemetery Fund and eighty percent (80%) to the General Operating Fund for Mount Olivet Cemetery.
