(A) 
No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in any of the following places:
(1) 
In front of a public or private driveway, or any part thereof.
(2) 
The following safety islands. There shall be no parking on both sides of the street at the below-described locations, from the street curbline to the island curbline, for a distance of 100 feet, measured from the center of each island, in all directions.

(3) 
At any place where official signs prohibit stopping, standing, or parking.
(B) 
No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his control into any such prohibited area or away from a curb such distance as is unlawful.
No person shall park any vehicle upon a street in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less space than is necessary for free movement of vehicular traffic.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any roadway for the principal purpose of:
(A) 
Displaying such vehicle for sale.
(B) 
Washing, greasing, or repairing such vehicle, except repairs necessitated by an emergency.
The City Traffic Engineer and the Hometown Police Department are hereby authorized to post and erect signs indicating no parking, stopping and/or standing on any street adjacent to a school. Any such signage may include restricted hours for parking, stopping or standing of vehicles. It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to park, stop or stand in violation of any such signage prohibiting the same.
It shall be unlawful to park any commercial vehicle in excess of one-half-ton capacity on any residential street, except to accomplish delivery or some like service.
(A) 
No vehicle used for the transportation of flammable liquids shall be left unattended on any street, highway or avenue, provided that this shall not prevent a driver from the necessary absence from the truck in connection with the delivery of his load; except during actual discharge of the liquid, some responsible person shall be present at the vehicle.
(B) 
No vehicle used for the transportation of flammable liquids shall be parked out-of-doors in a residential area or closer to a building than 50 feet in other areas at any one point for longer than one hour.
(C) 
No vehicle used for the transportation of flammable liquids shall be parked or garaged in any building other than a building specifically approved for such use by the Chief of the Fire Department.

(A) 
Each driver and passenger of a motor vehicle stopped or standing in a lane of traffic on a street or highway in the City of Hometown shall wear a properly adjusted and fastened seat safety belt.
(B) 
A violation of this section shall result in a fine in the amount of $50.
