Every operator of a vehicle approaching an intersection at which an official traffic control device is erected in accordance with this chapter shall obey the direction of such official traffic control device as required by the Wisconsin Statutes incorporated by reference in § 394-1 of this chapter. Operators of vehicles approaching a stop sign shall stop before entering a highway as required by § 346.46, Wis. Stats. Operators approaching intersections at which a yield sign has been installed shall yield the right-of-way to other vehicles as required by § 346.18(6), Wis. Stats.
In the interest of public safety and pursuant to § 349.07, Wis. Stats., the street or portions thereof set forth in this section are declared to be through highways and traffic signs or signals giving notice thereof shall be erected by the Director of Public Works in accordance with § 394-3:
No U-turn shall be permitted on Oak Street and First Street
from the north City limits to the south City limits and at all other
intersections as properly posted from time to time.
