Dangerous buildings — See Ch. 132.
All new construction of any building and the maintenance of existing buildings within the Village limits of Granville, Illinois, shall conform to the standards and procedures promulgated under the Building Officials and Code Administrators Code of 1999 and all amendments and supplements thereto.
The Board hereby adopts provisions of 65 ILCS 5/11-31.1-1 et seq., as amended, as it pertains to building code hearing procedures.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, Article III, of the Village Code. The Village may additionally enforce this chapter by seeking injunctive relief or such other relief as may be available as provided by applicable law before the Circuit Court of Putnam County, Illinois or any other court of competent jurisdiction.
