A. 
It shall be unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand at any time in any of the following places, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a policeman or traffic-control device:
(1) 
In any intersection.
(2) 
In a crosswalk.
(3) 
Upon any bridge or viaduct or in any subway or tunnel or the approach thereto.
(4) 
Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within 30 feet of a point of the curb immediately opposite the end of a safety zone.
(5) 
Within 30 feet of a traffic signal, beacon, or sign on the approaching side.
(6) 
Within 20 feet of any intersection or crosswalk.
(7) 
At any place where the standing of a vehicle will reduce the usable width of the roadway for moving traffic to less than 18 feet.
(8) 
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
(9) 
At any place where the vehicle would block the use of a driveway.
(10) 
Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad grade crossing.
(11) 
Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire department station and on the side of the street opposite the entrance to any such station within 75 feet of such entrance when properly signposted.
(12) 
On any sidewalk or parkway.
(13) 
At any place where official signs prohibit parking.
(14) 
Parallel to the curb on McCoy Street between Route 71 and Main Street.
(15) 
Within 10 feet of each side of any private driveway.
(16) 
On the opposite side of the street from any private driveway and 10 feet to each side thereof.
(17) 
Within 10 feet of any alleyway intersecting the street.
(18) 
On Elm Street between Silverspoon Avenue and Hopkins Avenue, except parking is allowed on the east side of Elm Street between Hopkins Avenue and Harrison Court for a period less than two hours per vehicle for funeral purposes only.

(19) 
On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street.

(20) 
Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic.

(21) 
On any railroad tracks.

On any controlled-access highway.

B. 
The provisions of Subsection A(15), (16) and (17) shall not apply to parking on the following:

Any person, firm or corporation who or which violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of § 252-73A(15), (16) and (17) shall, upon conviction, be subject to penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, Article III, of the Village Code.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park any vehicle upon any street after a snowfall of three inches or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. or until streets are plowed by the Village to remove sufficient snow to allow two lanes of traffic on each such street.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park any vehicle upon McCoy Street between Route 71 and Main Street within 12 hours following any snowfall exceeding three inches or before snow-handling and -removal operations are completed by the Village following each snowfall.[1]

C. 
The word "park" shall mean to leave any vehicle unattended at the side of any street or at the curb of any street and to leave any vehicle unattended with or without the motor running on any streets.
D. 
Any vehicle left parked upon any Village street in violation of Subsection A or B above may be removed from the Village from any such street and stored at such a place as to the best convenience of the Village. Upon removal, the Village shall give notice to the last operator of the vehicle before parking, if known, and, if unknown, to the person to whom the vehicle was last registered by the State of Illinois. Such notice shall be in writing served personally or by mail, postage prepaid.
E. 
If the last operator of the vehicle shall be unknown, it shall be presumed that the vehicle was last operated by the person to whom the vehicle was last registered by the State of Illinois.
F. 
No towed vehicle shall be returned to the operator or owner thereof until towing charges not exceeding $125 have been paid in full, and until storage fees not exceeding $35 per day have been paid in full.[2]

G. 
Any person, firm or corporation convicted of violating any terms of this section shall be subject to penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, Article III, of the Village Code.[3]

A. 
No person shall park a motor vehicle more than 20 feet long on McCoy Street between Hopkins Street and South Street.
B. 
No person shall park a motor vehicle more than seven feet wide in the following locations:

It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any public street or portion thereof in the Village at any time when such street is being cleaned or snow is being removed. Signs indicating such cleaning or snow removal shall be posted before such work is done.
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle for a period of time in excess of the amount of time designated by ordinance and so posted.
A. 
The Police Department and all members thereof assigned to traffic duty are hereby authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by a commercial towing service, any car or other vehicle illegally parked in any place where such parked vehicle creates or constitutes a traffic hazard, blocks the use of a fire hydrant or obstructs or may obstruct the movement of any emergency vehicle; or any vehicle which has been parked in any public street or other public place for a period of 24 consecutive hours.
B. 
Cars so towed away shall be stored on any Village property or in a public garage or parking lot and shall be restored to the owner or operator thereof after payment of the expense incurred by the Village in removing and storing such vehicles.
No vehicle shall be parked with the left side of such vehicle next to the curb, except on one-way streets, and it shall be unlawful to stand or park any vehicle in a street other than parallel with the curb and with the two right wheels of the vehicle within 12 inches of the regularly established curbline, except that upon those streets that have been marked for angle parking, vehicles shall be parked at the angle to the curb indicated by such marks.
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle upon any street for the purpose of displaying it for sale, or to park any vehicle upon any street from which vehicle merchandise is peddled or sold.
It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to stop a passenger vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers, in any place designated by the Village Board as a loading zone and marked as such, or in any of the following designated places:
A. 
At any place not to exceed 75 feet along the curb before the entrance to any hospital or hotel at any time.
B. 
At any place not to exceed 75 feet along the curbline before the entrance to a public building between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except on Sunday.
C. 
Directly in front of the entrance to any theater at any time that the theater is open.
D. 
No person shall park any truck or commercial vehicle on McCoy Street for the purpose of unloading goods or merchandise.
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley except for the purpose of loading and unloading merchandise and then in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than 10 feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular traffic, and no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle within an alley in such a position as to block the driveway entrance to any abutting property.
It shall be unlawful to park any motor vehicle on any private property without the consent of the owner of the property.
Appropriate signs shall be posted in all areas where parking is limited or prohibited, indicating such limitations or prohibitions.

A. 
Parking prohibited. No person owning or controlling any road tractor, truck tractor, semi-trailer, stinger-steered semi-trailer, farm tractor or truck as defined in 625 ILCS 5/13-119 shall cause or permit it to be parked within the right-of-way of any public street, except as otherwise permitted by 625 ILCS 5/13-120 and 5/13-121.[1]

B. 
Definitions. The following words and phrases shall be defined for the purpose of this section as set forth in the following sections of the Illinois Vehicle Code:

C. 
Parking districts. Any owner or person in control of any vehicle regulated by this section may park any of the above-regulated vehicles upon any private property located in a zoning district classified as C Commercial District and M-1 Light Industrial District by Chapter 285, Zoning and Land Development, and which property has been improved in such a manner as to provide off-street parking.
D. 
Delivering, loading and unloading. It shall be lawful to park any of the above-regulated vehicles on any right-of-way in the Village when the vehicle is actually delivering, unloading or loading personal property to or from any premises, except that it shall be unlawful to park any regulated vehicle on any public street within the C Commercial District and the M-1 Light Industrial District of the Village, as defined by Chapter 285 of the Village Code, for the purpose of delivering, unloading or loading personal property if a right-of-way for alley purposes exists and is surfaced and usable by the vehicle and if a rear entrance exists for any building being served and is accessible for use.
E. 
Penalty. Every owner, person in control or other person who parks one or any combination of the above-defined vehicles in violation of this section shall be subject to penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, Article III, of the Village Code.[2]
