Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule XXI (§ 620-115), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The traffic signal installation shall be in accordance with the provisions of An Act Concerning Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulations, Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes,[1] shall conform to the design and shall be maintained in operation as authorized by the Department of Transportation of the State of New Jersey.
