The West Street Park and the West Chestnut Street Playground shall be open between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., unless otherwise specified. All other parks shall be open between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., unless otherwise specified. Trespassing shall be forbidden on park property, and no one shall use park property during times other than when the parks are open, without the permission of the Borough authorities.
A.ย 
No person shall become intoxicated, gamble or use threatening, abusive, insulting or indecent language, fight or commit disorderly or immoral conduct of any kind in the parks.
B.ย 
The possession and/or use of alcoholic beverages within the parks is prohibited. No person shall sell or possess beer, wine or intoxicating beverages of any kind, or sell, peddle or advertise any tickets, articles or services in any of the parks except at concessions duly approved by the Borough, or solicit alms or subscriptions or make collections of any kind.
A.ย 
The possession of or discharge of any type of firearm, bows and arrows, air guns, slingshots or fireworks or any other type of weapon, including knives, axes or hatchets, within the limits of the parks is expressly prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Borough.
B.ย 
The Borough authorities may confiscate any article or weapon in the possession of any person in the parks which is in violation of Subsection A above.
No motor-driven vehicle shall be operated within park areas at any time.
No person shall dispose of any paper, cloth, glass, metal or other refuse in the parks except in a receptacle provided for that purpose. If no receptacle is available, said material shall be removed from the park and disposed of in a manner not in violation of state or local law.
No person shall injure, deface, climb, mutilate, pull up, remove or destroy any vegetation in the parks nor remove, deface or damage any park property.
Fires shall be permitted only in fireplaces, stoves or other receptacles especially provided for that purpose. Such fires shall be attended at all times and be fully extinguished before being abandoned.
These rules and regulations shall apply to all areas owned and/or operated by the Borough for recreational purposes.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction before the issuing authority for the magisterial district which includes the Borough, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300 and costs of prosecution, or to imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 30 days, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
