The words and phrases in this chapter will, for the purpose of this
chapter, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by Article
I of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
B.
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
OFFICIAL TIME STANDARD
The following words and phrases, which are not defined by Article I of the State of New York, will have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section for the purpose of this chapter.
The two streets, Commercial Street and Main Street, bound
on the west by West Avenue and Wildbriar Drive and on the east by
Spring Street and bound on the south by Ward Avenue and School Street.
The triangle formed by Main Street, Commercial Street and lower Big
Tree is also included.[1]
Whenever certain hours are named herein or on traffic control
devices, they will mean the time standard which is in current use
in this state.
The Village of Livonia will install and maintain traffic control
devices when and as required under the provisions of this chapter,
to make effective the provisions of this chapter, and may install
and maintain such additional traffic control devices as may be deemed
necessary to regulate, warn or guide traffic under the Vehicle and
Traffic Law of the State of New York, subject to the provisions of
§§ 1682 and 1684 of that law.
