Editor's Note: At the direction of the Town, former Ch. 398, Kinnicutt Center Generator, adopted 7-6-2011, which stated that it was the policy of the Board of Selectmen to provide a protocol for the use of the Kinnicutt Center Generator and stated who would be given copies of the protocol, was removed and replaced by the protocol itself.
A. 
Done by school maintenance personnel on a regular basis. At least biweekly for a time duration of 30 minutes-no load; at least once a month under load for 30 minutes.
B. 
When done, date of exercise, length of time, any problems, general comments, etc., will be logged in writing.
C. 
Log sheets shall be maintained at the school.
The Town has a service contract with Milton CAT. The Town's customer ID is E11989 with an agreement number of Z07371; contract number of 0403E00155. Milton CAT is out of Scarborough 991-3119.
A. 
Startup will be authorized by the Public Safety Officer, physician's assistant, Law Enforcement Officer or Town Manager.
B. 
Generator will be turned on by Public Works Foreman or school maintenance personnel, whichever is best.
C. 
Startup will be logged in on the maintenance log sheets. This is to keep track of the total generator use.
D. 
Shut off will be authorized by the same individuals listed in Subsection A above.
E. 
While in operation, the responsibility for notifying the general public, fueling, maintenance, and problem checking, etc., belongs to the authorizing agent listed in Subsection A above.
F. 
Authorizing agent for the start-up will notify school administrative personnel.

Startup will be authorized by the Superintendent or Principal.
B. 
Generator will be turned on by school maintenance personnel or Public Works Foreman, whichever is best.
C. 
Startup will be logged in on the maintenance log sheets. This is to keep track of the total generator use.
D. 
Shutoff will be authorized by the same individuals listed in Subsection A above.
E. 
While in operation, the responsibility for fueling, maintenance, problem checking, etc., belongs to the authorizing agent listed in Subsection A above.
F. 
Authorizing agent for the start-up will notify Town administrative personnel.
