In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of N.J.S.A.
2C:35-7 and N.J.S.A. 2C:35-7.1, the map produced on or about June
15, 1999, by Ralph J. Tango, Jr., P.E., P.L.S. License No. NJPE27783,
Township Surveyor under the direction of the Director of Engineering
for the Township of Irvington is hereby approved and adopted as an
official finding and record of the location and areas on or within
1,000 feet of school property as defined in N.J.S.A. 2C:35-7; and
also is hereby approved and adopted as an official finding and record
of the location on or within 500 feet of public housing facility,
public park and public building as defined in N.J.S.A. 2C:35-7.1,
hereinafter, "Drug-Free Zone Map."
The Drug-Free Zone Map adopted by this article pursuant to §
266-1 of this article shall continue to constitute an official finding and record of the location and boundaries of the area or areas on or within 1,000 feet of school property pursuant to §
266-1; also this article shall constitute an official finding and record of the location and boundaries of the area or areas on or within 500 feet of public housing facility, public park and public building pursuant to §
266-1.

A. The School Board, or the chief administrative officer in the case
of any private or parochial school, is hereby directed and shall have
the continuing obligation to promptly notify the Department of Public
Works, Township Engineer, of any changes or contemplated changes in
the location and boundaries of any property owned by or leased to
any secondary school or school board which is used for school purposes
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2C:35-7.
B. The local housing authority in the case of the public housing facility,
the appropriate parks department in the case of a public park and
the Director of Engineering in the case of a public building is hereby
directed and shall have the continuing obligation to promptly notify
the Department of Public Works, Township Engineer, of any changes
or contemplated changes in the location and boundaries of any such
property.

The original map approved pursuant to §
266-1 shall be filed with the Municipal Clerk. The Municipal Clerk shall maintain the filed map as an official record of the municipality. A certified copy of the map can be obtained for fee of $500 upon request by persons; federal, state, municipal agencies, or federal, state and municipal courts. Certified copies of the map and this article will be provided to the County Clerk and Essex County Prosecutor.
Nothing in this article shall be construed to preclude the prosecution
from introducing or relying upon any other evidence or testimony to
establish any element of this offense, nor shall this article be construed
to preclude the use or admissibility of any map or any diagram other
than one which has been approved by the governing body of this municipality,
provided that the map or diagram is otherwise admissible pursuant
to rules of evidence.
