No person shall operate any laundry or launderette without first securing a license to do so, upon application to the Division of Licensing of the Town.
If the applicant for a license required by § 369-14 operates a laundry or launderette at more than one location, each location shall require a separate license.

As a condition precedent to the issuance of a license pursuant to this chapter by the Division of Licensing of the Town, there shall be certified to the Division of Licensing by the Health Officer, the Department of Public Safety, the Division of Building Inspection and the Plumbing Inspector of the Town that they respectively have investigated the application and see no objections to the issuance of such license.

The annual license fee, or for any fraction of a year, for the operation of a laundry or launderette under this chapter shall be $888 initially and $347 annually thereafter.[1]

Editor's Note: Original § 131-15B of the 1981 Revised Code, which contained an exemption from the license fee for war veterans, which previously followed this section, was deleted at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I).
Every license issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall expire on the 31st day of December following the date of its issuance.
