City of Nanticoke, PA Article VIII Lower South Valley Council of Governments

[Adopted 3-18-2015 by Ord. No. 6-2014]

§ 64-32 Approval of Articles of Agreement.

The City Council of the City of Nanticoke does hereby adopt this article approving the attached Articles of Agreement Between and Among the Member Municipalities of the Lower South Valley Council of Governments and authorizes the proper City officials to execute said Agreement.[1]

§ 64-33 Representatives.

Pursuant to Article IV, Section B, of the attached agreement, Andy Gegaris shall initially serve as the City of Nanticoke's designated voting representative to the LSVCOG. The City of Nanticoke designates Donna Wall as the alternative representative in the event that the primary representative is unable to attend a meeting or otherwise discharge the duties of his or her position. These representatives can be replaced from time to time via executive order of the Mayor of the City of Nanticoke pursuant to his or her powers under the Home Rule Charter, subject to confirmation by Council.

§ 64-34 Authority to execute documents.

The Mayor is authorized to execute the attached Articles of Agreement and all documents necessary to carry out the intent of this article.
