City of Lock Haven, PA Article VII Appointment of Council Members to Boards and Commissions

[Adopted 12-29-1988 by Ord. No. 309B (Ch. 1, Part 11, of the 2003 Code of Ordinances)]

§ 30-21 Ineligibility of members.

A. Members of City Council shall not be eligible for or appointed to the:

(1) Planning Commission of the City of Lock Haven.

(2) Code Enforcement Board of Appeals and Review.

(3) Civil Service Commission of the City of Lock Haven.

(4) Board of Health.

(5) Annie Halenbake Ross Library Board of Directors.

(6) Zoning Hearing Board.

(7) Recreation and Parks Board.

B. Any member of Council presently serving as a member on one of these agencies shall continue for the balance of the current term of office.

§ 30-22 Appointment to Pension Funds Boards. [1]

Members of City Council shall continue to be eligible for appointment to the Board of the Police Pension Fund and the Board of the City Employees Retirement Fund.
